Stopped up Quickie Flush

OK here's one for you.
Seems that my Quickie Flush has stopped working i.e. apparently the back-flow preventer is now preventing water from being sprayed into the black water tank. Anybody got any ideas on how I might fix this? I was able to move the back-flow ball with a probe, but still it will not let water past it. If I replace it can I take the broken one off and install a new one in the same place? I'm sure that there's some kinda of glue that was used when it was installed. I just don't want to bust a hole in the tank and have a bigger job and expense.
Thanks in advance for assistance.

Fillup Now?

My next trip is not until mid July. TV will be sitting in the garage until then. With cost of fuel going up, what would be any pros and cons with filling up now?

RE: Park The Pickup

Been doing that for several years now. Now that my kids are on their own I have inherited the Escort I bought when they go their license. My TV basically sits in the garage except for camping once a month. Saves $$$$.

RE: looking for nc campgrounds

Check out Jordan Lake near Raleigh. Just off Hwy 64. There are several state cgs on the lake. We've stayed at Crosswinds several time. Nice state park. Also Banjo Creek RV park near Asheboro and the NC Zoo. We're going there this weekend. It was Zooland and has been redone - from what we hear.
Near N.Wilksboro is Bandits Roost on Kerr Lake. We also like Raccoon Hollar in Glendale Springs, just off Hwy 16.
Get out and enjoy before gas hits $5.00 a gallon!!!!!

RE: Penske Racing in NC

On a personal note I used to work there before it was Penske Racing. Roger spared no expense in transforming a former manufacturing facility into his race shop. I believe that they also build the Indy cars there as well. I've seen several of the race shops and this is about at the top.
You'll have plenty of room to park your RV.
If your stopping in Mooresville, there are a number of shops in the area and Concord is about 20 miles away.
Hope you enjoy your visit!!

RE: NC State Parks

We were at Crosswinds on Jordan Lake and it has water and electric and sewer dump. Only downside was the gate was locked at 8PM. Nice wooded campground with plenty of room and some sites are duplex so you can camp with friends. About 30 minutes or less from Raleigh on Hwy 64. There are several campgrounds in this area on Jordan Lake.

RE: Atlanta status tomorrow (3-29-08)

Going thru Atlanta next Saturday AM 4/5 headed to Destin. Is there any difference in which 285 you take? About how many miles is this going to add to my trip?
Thanks.........

Anyone with any recent experience staying at either The Pottery Campground or Country Boy's RV Park in Commerce, Georgia? Just looking at these for a one night stop in route to Florida.

RE: When's Your First Trip of the Season?

We're heading out tomorrow to Lake Wateree, near Columbia, SC. This will be our club's first meeting for the year. Can't wait to get started. The heck with the price of gas - I have to buy gas to go to work, I'm going to buy gas to go camping! We're all fixing hobo dinners for Saturday and watching the ACC tournament.
Go Heels!!!!!

RE: Winston-Salem Must See

All of the above are good. But treat yourself to a Krispy Kreme donut. They began business in Winston and their first original store is still open. Just look for the "Hot Now" sign! If you're a NASCAR fan, the Richard Childress shop and museum is in Welcome. Wake Forest University is in Winston - it has a beautiful church on campus.
